Curriculum
The Academy uses a blend of sources to maintain a biblical curriculum. This selective approach
allows the school to meet a variety of student needs.
In order to discharge God’s commission to the Academy, each teacher will use the curriculum as a
vehicle for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. From Kindergarten through the elementary grades, the
primary purpose of the school’s curriculum is to equip students to know truth. In the middle grades
and the Upper School, the primary purpose of the curriculum is to equip students to defend truth.
In the middle grades, the purpose is two-fold, equipping students to know and defend truth. It is
from this premise that UFCA can rest assured that viewing the curriculum as a vehicle for teaching
the Word of God will result in excellence, for genuine excellence is achieving God’s purpose, and He
is faithful. United Faith Christian Academy holds that God’s tradition for excellence in education
demands that Christ permeate every part of what students are taught, how they are taught, and why
they are taught.
All curriculums are reviewed regularly in relation to our student’s needs and is subject to change
at the discretion of the Administration.
UFCA BIBLICAL INTEGRATION
Our goal and passion is to pursue excellence in academics, athletics, fine arts, and in all arenas
of learning. This pursuit is sought through I Cor. 2:16 – "Bringing the mind of Christ – the wisdom
of Christ – to the task of education."
