Giving
The primary method of contributing to the school is by donating to the Falcon Fund. We seek donations to this fund each year as a way to supplement our budget. As a private Christian school, we only have two ways to fund our programs in academics, athletics, fine arts and spiritual development. Those are tuition and fund raising. Some will ask, "Why don't you just raise tuition to the point where you don't need the Falcon Fund?" Setting tuition is a matter of balancing the tension between providing sufficient funds for our programs, while keeping our price point where it is affordable to our families and does not eliminate some of the very families who have helped build the school.
Philosophically, we believe each family can help provide support to the annual fund by writing a check, by helping us reach out to family and friends who are willing to invest in the education and ministry God is doing at United Faith Christian Academy, or by providing a "gift in kind" (physical gift). If you have questions about how to give to the school, please contact Dr. Joe Siragusa.
Two easy ways for UFCA to earn money for our school! Please join in now!
1. Harris Teeter's Together in Education Program
When using your VIC card at Harris Teeter Grocery Stores simply tell the cashier to re-link your card to United Faith Christian Academy (#1649) or go to www.harristeeter.com and click on "Together in Education," then click on "Link your VIC card to your school now!" Follow directions then submit your request. Link must be done at the beginning of every school year!
2. General Mills' Box Tops for Education Program
Simply look for the Box Tops for Education labels, cut them out, and return them to school. Each LS teacher will collect the box tops in their classrooms. You may also turn them into the main school office.
