DEVELOPMENT
The Development Department of United Faith Christian Academy is the clearinghouse for all
fundraising, Academy formation, and professional staff development. The areas of strategic
purpose are:
- Academic Formation
- Financial Formation
- Athletic Facility and Equipment
- Student Leadership Formation
- Professional Development
The Development Director working closely with the Administrative Team identifies areas of need,
raises funds to accomplish the task, and plans and implements the enhancements. The Development
Director plans and implements the annual fundraising events and annual fund (Falcon Fund) in
conjunction with the Parent Teacher Organization. All class and in-school fundraising projects
are approved and scheduled from the Development Department.
Together with the Academy Leadership Team, the Development Director presents a strategic plan and
the yearly strategic initiatives. The purpose in these activities is to enable the Academy to
grow, enhance the total program, and enrich each student’s experience at United Faith.
Development Fundraising Programs
United Faith Christian Academy offers donors a number of giving options for supporting the Academy
while providing them with favorable tax advantages.
1. The annual “Falcon Fund”: United Faith Christian Academy is an Independent Christian School and as
such receives no funding other than tuition and volunteer donations. Tuition alone does not cover
the full cost of educating students each year. The annual “Falcon Fund” serves to provide the
Academy with essential funding that can bridge the gap between our tuition income and the cost of
a quality education for each student. The fund also provides necessary monies to fund improvement
initiatives.
2. Matching Gifts Program: There is no easier way to double the impact of contributions than through
matching gifts. Many companies match the dollars donated to non-profit, educational facilities and
charitable organizations. Simply ask your employer or Human Resource Dept. for a matching funds form,
brings it to the Academy and we will do the rest! It is the easiest and most effective way to double
the blessing that you give.
3. Endowment Funds: Endowment giving to United Faith Christian Academy is a long term investment.
Financial strength in a non-profit organization can only be achieved by the investment into the
organization and its students. Endowment giving, invests in the security of the organization
insuring that we will thrive to serve the Christian community for many years to come. The Academy
benefits by using a percentage of these funds to increase financial aid fund Academy development
initiatives, student leadership opportunities and support an educational program that betters us
as a Godly institution.
4. Planned Giving: As families plan their financial futures, they often look for ways to increase tax
savings, provide for retirement, or reduce the size of a taxable estate. By giving a planned gift to
UFCA you can help attain these goals while leaving a legacy that will impact future generations.

All gifts to UFCA, credit card, cash or other financial vehicle are tax deductible, and are used to
directly bless and enhance our students, and families.
