Dear Parent of a Prospective UFCA Student,

Why choose United Faith Christian Academy (UFCA) from among the many choices in private Christian education? We certainly have an excellent, accredited (SACS-CASI) academic program. We also have competitive athletic teams, creative Fine Arts programs, and a curriculum that is taught from a biblical worldview as a means of encouraging the spiritual development of our students.

We have an advantage over many other schools because of our easy South Charlotte accessibility on Providence Road and especially our affordability. Good stewardship and careful planning have allowed us to maintain a tuition price point that makes us a superior value in private Christian education.

The real distinction of an UFCA education though can be found in the way we facilitate student learning. Our small class size (about 1 faculty per nine students) allows our faculty to really know each student personally. Our Lower School classes are paired with an Upper School mentor class in our award winning “Be the Blessing” Buddy Class Program. Every classroom has either interactive whiteboard technology or Internet projection capabilities to give our teachers the resources they need to execute their well-planned lessons.

Our strong sense of a school “family” gives us the passion to support our amazingly gifted faculty as they lead our students in the standard disciplines as well as value added learning opportunities such as Chinese (which begins in 4thgrade) and to excel in areas such as math (District Champions in Algebra I for two years in a row). Our math success is likely due to the way our lower school curriculum actually teaches one grade level advanced over the standard curriculum.

Speaking of Lower School, you’ll want to stop by our TK classroom and watch our youngest learners as they tell you about the difference between mammals and reptiles or as they speak to you in Spanish.

All this happens in a family atmosphere that is designed to instill Christian values and character lessons as we learn from one another, including the global perspective we gain from our international students who originate from countries all around the world.

United Faith Christian Academy is a place where Christian men and women come together to “do life” and live out our faith in front of the students and with our students.

Come see what life is like at UFCA. You’ll be blessed by your time with us.

Serving,

Joe Siragusa, D.C., M. Ed.
