Diversity Advisor to the Headmaster (DAH)

The Diversity Advisor to the Headmaster is an advisory position. The position reports directly to the Headmaster. The purpose of this position is to ensure that all due consideration is given in matters where culture or diversity issues may be at issue. Involvement of the Diversity Advisor to the Headmaster will occur when:

• the Headmaster requests it
• a matter involves issues where race, culture, or other issues of diversity are involved (as judged by the Headmaster)
• a student, employee, or family feel that race, culture or diversity are involved and they request involvement of the DAH by written request to the Headmaster

The Diversity Advisor to the Headmaster will advise the Headmaster when an issue or decision indicates the need for sensitivity or consideration based on race, culture or diversity.

Additionally, the Diversity Advisor to the Headmaster may participate in meetings and educational opportunities for faculty, staff, families, and students on matters of maintaining a Christ-honoring school environment. It is the goal of United Faith Christian Academy to be a community in which we see each other as creatures made in God's image with an emphasis on the things that create unity in Christ and like-mindedness rather than division based on race and other matters of diversity.
